Outpatient Rehab Clermont County, Ohio

Clermont County, Ohio Opiate Rehab, Drug Rehab, and Detox Resources

The opiate epidemic of recent years has taken our country by surprise. Ohio has not escaped this problem, and Clermont County itself has unfortunately seen the effects of prescription painkiller and heroin abuse. What started as individuals looking for effective pain relief quickly turned into dependence and then drug-seeking behavior. Today, those addicted to opiates will do anything they can to get a better, cheaper high, including turning to powerful opiates such as carfentanil, which is designed to sedate large animals.

According to the Ohio Department of Health, Clermont ranked fourth in Ohio for overdose deaths, with an average of two deaths per week in 2016. That year, the county had 96 fatal drug overdoses, which was a slight decrease from the 105 overdose deaths recorded in the county in 2015 (Clermont County Coroner’s office).

The state of Ohio ranked second in the number of opiate overdose deaths in 2016, behind only West Virginia. A National Center for Health Statistics report (CDC) showing overdose death counts concluded that Ohio had a 41 percent rise in its overdose deaths. Nationally, overdose fatalities are increasing at 17 percent each year.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 64,000 people died nationally in 2016 from drug overdoses. That compares with the 2015 count of 52,404. Most, but not all, of these were opioid-related overdose deaths.

Suboxone Detox Doctors and Centers in Clermont County, Ohio

For those living in Clermont County, there are several suboxone clinics nearby that can help with opiate detox:

Northland is an outpatient rehab center that offers much more than medication to help with detox. Northland offers a more intensive SIOP (Suboxone Intensive Outpatient Program) which uses medications like Suboxone to manage detox and treat opiate addiction. The SIOP phase lasts one to two weeks after detox and then you will transition to our IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) which is three times a week for 12 weeks. We have morning and evening options available. After IOP you will attend 52 weeks of aftercare which is a once per week group. If you present to us with a substance use issue other than opiates you will be placed directly into the IOP level of care. Our Suboxone intensive outpatient program (SIOP) is effective in helping individuals wean off opiates, but we don’t stop there. We provide each and every client with meaningful therapy that retrains and redirects their thinking so they are able to function without their substance, stand up to cravings, and find a rewarding and sober life.

Our program for opiate addiction recovery is covered 100% by Medicaid and as out of network by most insurance companies. We provide individualized care, meaning we look at each individual’s needs and then design a program based on those needs. Our aftercare/alumni program provides added success by keeping clients connected to a support system long after rehab is complete.
