Outpatient Rehab Fairfield, Ohio
Fairfield, Ohio Opiate Rehab, Drug Rehab, and Detox Resources
Opiate addiction has slowly made its way into Midwestern communities in the past several years. Today most would consider opiate addiction an epidemic because so many people are suffering from it. Opiates such as morphine, codeine, fentanyl, and heroin are controlling lives and devastating relationships. They are also leading to overdose emergencies and even death.
There were 16 overdose deaths in Fairfield in 2016, and 12 were heroin/fentanyl-related, according to the County Coroner’s office. While officials say most of the individuals who died from an overdose in the city were not actually city residents, the statistics for the city of Fairfield still mirror those of surrounding cities and the state. More than half of Butler County’s 25 municipalities had at least one heroin/fentanyl overdose-related death in 2016, and the numbers are climbing.
Butler County overdose statistics:
- 2015: 149 deaths due to opiates
- 2016: 153 deaths due to opiates
- 2017: 190 deaths due to opiates

Outpatient Opiate Rehab
There is help for opiate addiction. Treatment involves helping the individual get clean from their substance and then helping them learn how to live without it. For opiate withdrawal, medications like suboxone are often used because they keep the person from going through the uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms like body aches and pains, nausea, and headache. With suboxone, the body doesn’t even know it has stopped using drugs, and this gives the person the opportunity to focus on rehab and recovery instead of worrying about detox.
Northland offers a comprehensive treatment program, meaning we utilize beneficial opiate replacement medications to keep clients comfortable and help them through the early phases of recovery. But we also prepare clients for long-term success by providing outpatient rehab and therapy to help them get to the heart of their addiction and learn how to overcome it.
Suboxone Detox Doctors and Centers in Fairfield, Ohio
Fairfield residents have the option to go to a suboxone clinic to get medications to help with withdrawal from opiates. Some local resources include:
Suboxone has been proven to be effective in the treatment of opiate addiction. Northland Treatment offers a Suboxone intensive outpatient program (SIOP) that helps kick-start a person’s recovery. However, this is not all there is to recovery. The majority of people who try to recover from opiate addiction with only suboxone or medications will relapse within the first year. In order for a person to remain sober, they need to learn how to incorporate healthy coping methods into their life for the hard days when pressures arise. They need to develop a support system that can encourage them when they are tempted to use again. Most importantly, they need to find healing from past mistakes, experiences, broken relationships, and distorted thought patterns so they can maintain and enjoy sober living. This is all done through counseling and therapy sessions at Northland, as well as aftercare and participation in support groups.
Northland is a comprehensive outpatient opiate rehab program. We are Joint Commission Accredited and our treatment professionals are experienced in opiate addiction recovery. We work with most insurance companies to help clients get the coverage they deserve. Our SIOP program is covered as out of network by most insurance companies and is covered 100% by Medicaid. Most importantly, we offer the highest level of care through therapy and counseling along with suboxone for the best results.
Northland offers a more intensive SIOP (Suboxone Intensive Outpatient Program) which uses medications like Suboxone to manage detox and treat opiate addiction. The SIOP phase lasts one to two weeks after detox and then you will transition to our IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) which is three times a week for 12 weeks. We have morning and evening options available. After IOP you will attend 52 weeks of aftercare which is a once per week group. If you present to us with a substance use issue other than opiates you will be placed directly into the IOP level of care.
