Outpatient Rehab Hamilton, Ohio

Hamilton, Ohio Opiate Rehab, Drug Rehab, and Detox Resources

Hamilton, Ohio, is situated a short distance from both Cincinnati and Dayton. The convenience of the location makes it appealing to families looking to settle into a community that is close enough to a large city, yet far enough away to have a culture of its own. Known for its art and cultural activities, this “City of Sculpture” has much to offer residents.

Yet even a suburb like Hamilton faces its share of challenges. As the state of Ohio has seen in recent years, there is an increase in heroin and other opiate abuse, as well as overdose deaths from these substances. As trends throughout the country show both prescription painkiller and street drug abuse making its way into suburbs and even rural areas, the city of Hamilton and Butler County are no different.

In Butler County over the past three years, the number of overdose deaths related to opiates such as heroin and fentanyl increased more than 500%. Total overdose deaths in the county in 2015 were 189, and of those, 149 were opiate related. In 2016, those numbers rose to 192 total overdose deaths, 153 caused by opiates. In 2017, the number jumped to 232 total overdose deaths, and 190 were due to opiate abuse, according to the Butler County Coroner’s Office.

The good news is that there is hope for those struggling with drug and alcohol abuse. A treatment center that specializes in different therapy types and that offers individualized treatment is the best option for anyone looking for long-term recovery. For long-term sobriety, suboxone is best used in combination with addiction treatment and therapy. We offer true healing of the mind, body, and spirit. Northland is equipped to help individuals with any kind of drug or alcohol abuse, but the greatest need in the area is for opiate recovery, which we specialize in.Northland offers a more intensive SIOP (Suboxone Intensive Outpatient Program) which uses medications like Suboxone to manage detox and treat opiate addiction. The SIOP phase lasts one to two weeks after detox and then you will transition to our IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) which is three times a week for 12 weeks. We have morning and evening options available. After IOP you will attend 52 weeks of aftercare which is a once per week group. If you present to us with a substance use issue other than opiates you will be placed directly into the IOP level of care. Our Suboxone intensive outpatient program (SIOP), is covered 100% by Medicaid. We also work with private insurance companies. With this medication-assisted treatment program, we help clients ease into sobriety while working with each individual in one-on-one and group counseling sessions to heal the underlying causes of the addiction.
