Suboxone Detox Doctors and Centers in Middletown, Ohio
If you or a loved one is struggling with opiate addiction, there are suboxone clinics in and around Middletown that can prescribe medication to help with detox.
However, relapse is likely for those who only receive physical help for withdrawal symptoms. In order to ensure true success, the individual must gain an understanding of the disease of addiction, and work on coping skills and techniques to help deal with cravings and triggers to use.
Northland offers suboxone assisted recovery along with counseling to provide the best care possible. Suboxone is classified as an opioid partial agonist. It is comprised of two medications, each doing their part to block detox symptoms and cravings, and help the individual through the beginning of recovery. Most importantly, the way suboxone was designed helps keep it from being abused, so that the individual taking the medication does not experience the same kind of high as with other opiates.
Suboxone is made up of buprenorphine, a partial opioid agonist, which suppresses symptoms of opiate withdrawal and decreases cravings, yet doesn’t produce as much of a high itself. It also consists of naloxone, an opiate antagonist which actually reverses the effects of opiates in the person’s system. Together, the two parts of this medication make it possible for an individual to stop using their opiate of choice and work on sober living without feeling the negative effects of drug withdrawal.
Northland uses the breakthrough medication Suboxone for opiate addiction treatment. Northland offers a more intensive SIOP (Suboxone Intensive Outpatient Program) which uses medications like Suboxone to manage detox and treat opiate addiction. The SIOP phase lasts one to two weeks after detox and then you will transition to our IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) which is three times a week for 12 weeks. We have morning and evening options available. After IOP you will attend 52 weeks of aftercare which is a once per week group. If you present to us with a substance use issue other than opiates you will be placed directly into the IOP level of care. Our Suboxone intensive outpatient program (SIOP) combines medication with counseling and therapy so that the individual can heal physically but also address the emotional and psychological aspects of addiction.
Our program is convenient and affordable. 100% of our suboxone program is covered by Medicaid and is also covered as out of network by private insurance companies. When clients enroll in our program they can be sure they are receiving the best care possible. Northland is Joint Commission Accredited, which means our facility meets strict requirements for safety and programming.
